iPhone 4: Apple's Latest Touchscreen Phone

After the iPhone 3GS has been released by Apple, another touchscreen phone made the people feel excited for the release of its latest touchscreen phone – the iPhone 4.The iPhone 4 is a touchscreen smartphone developed by Apple and is the fourth generation of iPhone. It is being marketed for video calling, consumption of media such as books and periodicals, movies, music, and games, and for general web and e-mail access that provides several functionalities intended to meet the users’ needs and interest. It was announced on June 7, 2010 and was released on June 24, 2010, in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Japan.

iPhone 4

The iPhone 4 runs the popular Apple's iOS operating system, distinctive and unique operating system as used on previous iPhones, the iPad, and the iPod Touch. It is primarily controlled by a user's fingertips on the multi-touch display, which is a fingertip-sensitive allowing you to navigate and control different icons and interfaces.

Features

·         FaceTime – iPhone 4 allows you to connect and wave to your friends and loved ones with your sweetest smiles in making into reality the dream of people which is video calling. This is just so perfect in keeping in touch with them.

·         Retina Display - The Retina display on iPhone 4 is the sharpest, most vibrant, highest-resolution phone screen ever and in fact, the pixel density is high enough that the human eye is unable to distinguish individual pixels which makes text amazingly crisp and images stunningly sharp.

·         Multitasking – iPhone 4 allows multitasking. You can run your favorite third-party apps and switch between them instantly without slowing down the performance of the foreground app or draining the battery unnecessarily. This smarter approach to multitasking is available in iOS 4 only.

·         HD Video Recording and Editing - shoot and capture your own movies in high definition video even in low-light settings. Its advanced backside illumination sensor and built-in LED light let you do this. You can create and edit your own mini-masterpiece right on iPhone 4 using the iMovie app — with Apple-designed themes, titles, and transitions.

·         5-megapixel Camera with LED Flash – take detailed pictures with its 5-megapixel camera and capture your smiles and sceneries with its LED flash. Its front camera makes it easy for you to capture self-pictures and upload them easily to the internet.

Design

·         Engineered Class – iPhone technology is two glossy panels of aluminosilicate glass — the same type of glass used in the windshields of helicopters and high-speed trains which is chemically strengthened to be 20 times stiffer and 30 times harder than plastic. The glass is ultradurable and more scratch resistant than ever. It’s also recyclable.

·         Retina Display – Apple Engineers developed iPhone 4 with merely small pixels that human eye can't determine making it as the highest resolution smartphone ever! IPS technology also provides excellent color and contrast from almost any viewing angle.

·         Stainless Steel Band – created by Apple's own alloy and to be five times stronger than standard steel providing refined thin design. It also functions as both iPhone 4 antennas.

·         Apple A4 Chip – Apple engineers developed the A4 chip to be powerful yet sustaining incredible performance which allows multi-tasking, video editing, and playing applications all maximizing battery life.

·         Gyro + Accelerometer – iPhone 4 includes a built-in three-axis gyroscope. When paired with the accelerometer, it makes iPhone 4 capable of advanced motion sensing such as user acceleration, full 3D attitude, and rotation rate. Translation: More motion gestures and greater precision for an even better gaming experience.

·         Mic + Speaker – most phones only have one mic but in iPhone 4, it has two. The first is intended for voice calls, voice commands and memos while the second one is for FaceTime Video Calling. This dual-mic suppression allows you to have a noise-free conversation.

·         Multi-Touch – its large Multi-touch display, iPhone lets you explore and control everything with just the touch of your fingertips.

Amazing isn't it? With all these features and new design, iPhone 4 could be the must-have smartphone that Apple has ever released. You should have one now! Get your own iPhone 4 here
